Interreg III is a programme supported by the European Union which aims to promote interregional cooperation in the EU and encourage partnerships across borders to stimulate regional development.
The RAR Project is a cross border initiative between Kildare County Council and Denbighshire County Council developed to assist in the regeneration of the local economies of Athy and Rhyl. This project has received grant assistance from the European Union Interreg IIIA fund for three years. The project runs for three years from March 2003.
