Athy Heritage Centre Located in Emily Square, Athy Heritage Centre is one of the town's best preserved and renowned landmarks. It houses the only permanent exhibitions of the life and works of Antarctic explorer Ernest Shackleton along with many historical artefacts unique to Athy.

Shaker Store The shaker store is located in the old Quaker village, Ballitore in Co Kildare. Visitors can visit the recently refurbished 17 th century house of the famous Quaker writer and author Mary Leadbetter, Quaker Museum, Working Quaker Mill and Shaker Store and Tea Room where many beautifully handcrafted items in shaker style can be purchased.

Turnstyle – Jerry CarberyTurnstyle products are created in Athy, Co Kildare by Jerry Carbery. The inspiration for the pieces combines Ireland's Christian and Celtic heritage. The craft has a strong ecological influence. All the wood is salvaged from either fallen trees or timber recycled from local building renovation. Thus, each piece is unique.
ContactCiara O'Keeffe is a graduate of the Limerick School of Art and Design where she received a degree in Ceramic Design. Ciara's Collages are created out of a love of the Renaissance period. Each collage is individually hand made, and no two pieces are alike. Each piece is designed and constructed with hand made papers, pieces of wire and individually designed pieces of ceramic.

Athy Par 3 Golf Course is a nicely maturing parkland, Par 3, 18 hole (16 Par 3 and 2 Par 4) on a 50 acre site, situated along side the Grand Canal overlooking the beautiful Kildare countryside. Water features and bunkers provide an excellent challenge to golfers of all levels.
